Graduate Geotechnical Engineer - Dubai

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong foundation in soil mechanics, foundation engineering and ground investigation methods.
• Ability to analyse and interpret geotechnical information, including borehole logs, laboratory results and in-situ testing data.
• Basic experience with AutoCAD.
• Good proficiency with spreadsheets and standard engineering/data-management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Clear and concise technical writing and reporting skills.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to be based in Dubai and occasionally attend project sites and ground investigations as required.

   

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Programming or data-analysis skills using Python, MATLAB or similar tools.
• Familiarity with geotechnical numerical modelling software such as PLAXIS, FLAC, RS2/Rocscience or similar.
• Academic or practical exposure to geotechnical design, including foundations, earthworks, retaining structures and slope stability.
• Previous site investigation or fieldwork experience, including borehole logging, supervision of ground investigations or collection and interpretation of field data.
• Interest in 3D geological/geotechnical modelling, data visualization and digital engineering.
